How to Get Involved

The Learning Garden can ALWAYS use help.  Please consider the following:

How do I get in, you ask?
·         The combination locks are preset to the school founding year – 1914

Like to get dirty?
·         Come pull weeds and keep the garden beds edged
·         We’ll have a running list of things that need ‘doing’ in the shed located in the back of the garden

Don’t know how?
·         Just ask one of the Learning Garden Co-chairs fsesgarden@gmail.com if you need any help on “how to in the garden”

Got a pick-up or know someone who does?
·         We always need mulch J help us get some unloaded in the garden

See the new compost bins?
·          Give them a spin - the more they turn the faster we get good dirt.

Got some gardening tools you just don’t use?
·         Donate them to a good cause - they can be housed in our newly donated garden shed.

Got bigger kids with lots of energy or that need community service time?
·         Bring them to burn off some energy!

Got more plants than your garden can handle?
·         We’ll take them!
Thanks,
